Re: Ultimate Potato Soup
You quadrupled the fats. Yum.
Food is for Yum!
Here is my cookie recipe for MrEpic, so he can make his own. A cup is 250ml, a tsp or teaspoon is 5ml, for the Europeans.
Oatmeal Doozy Treats
1 cup butter or margarine
1 ¾ cup white sugar
1 tsp molasses (or 1 cup brown sugar and remove 3/4 cup white sugar)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 ¾ cup oats
1 cup each walnuts, chocolate chips, raisins, or other, up to 3 cups
Cream fat, sugar, and molasses until thoroughly mixed. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift flours, baking soda and powder, and salt into mix and combine. Stir in oatmeal and nuts etc.
Drop onto cookie sheets by spoonfuls. Bake 375 Fahrenheit, 13 minutes per tray depending on size of cookies, until slightly golden. Allow to cool slightly, and lift off tray with flat utensil such as hard spatula.
Makes about 3 dozen, if you don’t eat too much batter.
