What is Minecraft DoTA
Minecraft: DOTA is a PvP map that requires no client mods.
Inspired by the popular Defense of the Ancients, DOTA 2 and Leagues of Legends. It plays around the same rules, with some twists!

My Idea
My idea is to setup a world where we could use this arena (with a pvp team plugin).



how It Would Work
I will modify the map slightly so that there needs to be at least 3 people on each side.
The world would need to be a separate inv but i am thinking about rewards to the winning team in the main world (if possible?).

Does seem pretty cool. Doesn't require anything except worldguard, I think.

Will all that redstone function properly with smp lag? Also, I vote that world live in perpetual night, to solve the bed thing, and also make it spoooooky.

rob - it doesn't actually need any plugins to function. But world guard to make the map unbreakable. and possibly a teams mod to eliminate friendly fire.

doozie - yeah constant night would solve the bed problem.

Only problem is once the map is complete it would need to be manually reset in the world files.

The idea seems cool, even I have no clue how to play DOTA 2... I got the beta and had no idea what was going on whatsoever.
