What is the difference in buying minecraft or buying a minecraft giftcode? So, if I was to buy minecraft from minecraft.net what would happen? Ughh noob... But we all must start somewhere. A minecraft giftcode is a code you can buy and give to someone to activate a minecraft account, it saves the hassle if someone doesn't want to buy one themselves, no real point in it because there are other ways in doing it but it's just for convenience.
