Depends on the anime/manga, but usually I default to the manga.

I prefer manga because you can enrich your mind with the material at your own pace. In addition, normally manga has more...interesting segments than the anime based off of it.

This used to be a spam thread, but we took it serious and now we discuss about it.
I still prefer anime, because I really like to watch stuff and some anime has awesome OST's, like the two OP's of Honey&Clover! :D
