A couple of common runes people probably don't know about (judging by requests!):

Harvest snow: gold shovel, place on an open flat area (at least 7x7).





Plant grass on dirt: gold shovel. red = redstone, cobble = tier block, 5*tier uses. eg, an obsidian gets 25 uses (tier 5).





Ice pick: gold pickaxe, red = redstone. blue = snow, cobble = tier block (5*tier, eg obsidian is tier 5)







So, I won't hear any more requests for snow blocks or grass blocks, right?

Here are some of the runes that will allow you to harvest blocks that previously needed item spawning.



Allows saplings to turn into leaves
=leaves







Ice PIck lets you collect ice
= Ice

= Redstone







Freeze rune freezes anything in a 10x10 radius around the center
= redstone torch





Snow shovel as Rbos had said before, The blanks must have snow layers there for it to work
