A couple of minutes ago, someone joined and used a script to spam the server to lag slightly, and overload nbot on the IRC. Zaneo already took care of it, but earlier some guys (I forget their names) were mentioning that the server was targeted for a potential attack. I don't know the groups name, probably tox or something, but what I do know is that they have multiple users involved and that they're based on youtube (like myg0t and Goroncity, just a smaller scale).

Chances are we might have some potential hard times coming. Are there any plug ins that we can use to help keep these guys at bay? I know that none of the staff will basically be able to monitor the place 24/7...

Well, I hope this isn't going to happen, but just to be safe, I will come online just to be safe,(online while making homework) ect.

I wouldn't say not to service the new users, but at least keep a third eye on them or something. There's not much they can really do with the plugins Novylen has installed.

I doubt this will really happen, and if so not be that bad
