minecraft.novylen.net

For some odd reason, if I do manage to connect, it gets stuck on the downloading terrain screen. Please, I need answers, minecraft SMP is like food, I need it!

I think my internet is just too slow, but yet not over the week.

Server stealth crashed, I restarted it.

And again this morning. ><

I'm thinking my firewall is causing me problems, the screen gets stuck on downloading terrain, yet I can get onto other servers, or is the server still down, oh and what is novylen.net(I'm still puzzled)?

If you think it's your firewall, disable it temporarily and try it again (is this not obvious?). Novylen.net is a domain, server and website owned by rbos. Server-wise, novylen.net is the 'hardcore' survival server (with resets) and mc.novylen.net is the persistent survival server.

If disabling the firewall makes minecraft work, your best bet is probably finding some setting in your firewall that will allow minecraft.exe to access the internet. Otherwise your best bet for now (until you get a better explanation) is just disabling it when you play.

i think it was my fault because you were in a protected area and i didn't allow you in sorry but everything is fine now i think...

Ok, yeah it's good now, I can get on every time.
