I see. So the server should be up sometime around 1:00 am I assume.
Edit
I see the server is up, but I have endless logging in..
As in it tells me I'm logging in, but in effect it never does. I'm just sitting here staring at the defiant program.

Re: downtime
Okay, that did not fix it, but I've narrowed it down to "wintertown" that's causing the problem.
Re: downtime
Gah. If Notch weren't completely useless right now I'd see if I could forward the chunks to him ><
Re: downtime
Well, I'm going to come back to it again in the morning.
I'll probably have to revert it back a few days. I've posted to the SMP support forum about it.

Re: downtime
Rolling back wintertown fixes the problem. :/
I wish I hadn't screwed up backups.
Edit: I haven't committed the change yet, just testing for now.

Re: downtime
you think it could be the giant crater that has a hole going out of the map in wintertown?
Re: downtime
Greetings.. Just found this forum not 5 minutes ago..
The offending object could possibly be a snowball I threw when I was meaning to place a block.
I wasn't looking at my hotbar..
As soon as I threw it, everyone stopped moving.
If it is the offending object.. it should be near DocObvious' home.

Re: downtime
Ok, not fixed yet I see. Good thing anyway, I'm trying not to go on my netbook as much.
