Requesting a chunk rollback...
Requesting a chunk rollback...
Okay... I really need to remove a certain someone from my protected zone's allowed list (and if somebody could tell me the command to do so, please do)... but for now, can an admin please reset a chunk or two (or three, however many it takes) to fix Cave City's entry hall right above the atrium. I don't want this place to be a standard boxy shithole lined with halfblocks, gold, diamond and cobble with a million torches. The fences around the waterfall are fine, since I put those in myself -- what I'm bitching about is the halfblock stairs and the squared hallways (I went to remove some myself until I realized that my friend went and squared off the hallways... don't ban him or anything, he wasn't griefing. He just likes squarish stuff and halfblocks way too much. Think of it as a retard screaming "I'M HELPING!" as he takes an hammer to your house in a pitiful imitation of "building" things). This is CAVE CITY dammit, not GENERIC UNDERGROUND CITY #80688.

Re: Requesting a chunk rollback...
I don't think individual chunks can be reset - at least not without significant effort. Though this is just supposition; I'm not an admin. However, I imagine the outcome will be that although it's a shame you'll just have to fix it.
Anyway, the command to remove permissions is /revoke [name of the cuboid] [playername]. You need to be the owner of the cuboid to be able to do this, or a mod. Out of curiosity, who did all this stuff you're unhappy about (if you don't want to post it publically send me a message).
By the way, if you don't know the name of the cuboid, right click on any block within it with a wooden sword and it'll tell you.

Re: Requesting a chunk rollback...
/revoke isn't working.

Re: Requesting a chunk rollback...
its actually /revoke <name of player> <cuboid name>
Re: Requesting a chunk rollback...
Ah, whoops.
Re: Requesting a chunk rollback...
I have backups going back to September, so I'll revert it to an old one. I'll see if I can find the right spot.
Re: Requesting a chunk rollback...
I could revert the entire area to a previous backup, but I'd need to know the date.
I see 'danielphin' created the gold blocks at December 1, should I take the entire 200x200 area around there and put it back to november 31?

Re: Requesting a chunk rollback...
That sounds reasonable. I wasn't on for a few days at that point, so the 31st shouldn't undo any of the stuff I did myself. Thanks in advance, rbos.rbos wrote:I could revert the entire area to a previous backup, but I'd need to know the date.

Re: Requesting a chunk rollback...
If you could give me coordinates (/getpos, X and Z) and a rough radius (in blocks), I can do the restore.
Re: Requesting a chunk rollback...
The coordinates are X -2099, Y 51, Z -658 in a roughly 50-block radius. Sorry I took so long, I was moving cross-country from Massachusetts to Texas!rbos wrote:If you could give me coordinates (/getpos, X and Z) and a rough radius (in blocks), I can do the restore.
