I can remove entity objects right now (see http://github.com/codewarrior0/pymclevel/) so I'll be removing all minecarts from the world map on the next downtime, in addition to removing all railways, until they work properly. The hope for this is that'll help with FPS lag and crash bugs in certain areas, notably firstspawn.
I'm also going to investigate stuffing in a floating island biome, but don't get your hopes up. Possibly a cavern map that I have lying around leftover from multiplayer creative.
Plus a few road extensions. I might put them in manually, or just experiment with automating the procedure (I can do that now).
