Candreasen told me the other day that he could not get on to the server because he had been banned. He has been playing on this server for almost a year now, and I was wondering what he did to deserve the ban, and if it must be permanent.

He has been banned because he was X-ray hacking, He has been warned to stop, still X-rayed, and got banned.

It was really obvious, too. Using other player's tunnels, sometimes digging through three layers of stone to get to the diamond, working without torches.

I did have permission to be using that mine and I turn my brightness way up on my monitor so I don't have to constantly place torches. That said it was really suspicious looking but I would still like to be unbanned because this is the only server I play on (other than mine) and I do usually follow pretty much all rules.

That said, he should have to place torches and play 100% legit...

Okay. I don't really buy that you weren't xray hacking, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on that one. Play legit, please. It makes you a lot less suspicious.

I've looked at the logs and it certainly looked suspicious. Posted here for future reference.
