Corrupt chunk, again

Post by rbos »

Welp, another chunk is crashing the server. I'm running it on port 25566 for testing to try and find it.

Crashes when loading kleril's /home. That's probably it.

He's impressively far away from origin. about 10 kilometers. Quite a hike.

So, I could just delete the whole area, but it looks like kleril's been building stuff.

Actually I could just roll it back about an hour and a half to the last backup.

Hmm. I'll back it up and try that.

I typo'd the backup cron job (*/3 instead of */8) so the backup was from 15:00, not 16:00. But it's good now, I hope kleril isn't too put out. :)

And, same problem again. I have a few candidate areas to look at. :/

Hope you get this figured out.

Can't find it. Pulling back the backup I made fifteen minutes ago, and re-restoring kleril's chunks. I'm operating on the assumption that the corrupted chunk is newer than the backup. :/

This sucks!
